Privacy policy
This is Jamie Pidgley’s personal website. This notice explains how personal information is used when you visit the site, get in touch or subscribe to email updates.
Email subscriptions
If you subscribe, the site collects your email address only. Alongside it we record which page you subscribed from and the date and time you gave consent, so we can show that the subscription was requested.
Your email address is used for one purpose: to send occasional updates about what Jamie is building. It is never sold, shared for advertising, or sent to analytics tools.
Subscriptions are processed by an external email provider (provider to be confirmed — this section will name the processor once the email service is connected). Where the provider supports it, a confirmation email is sent and the subscription is only activated once you confirm it.
Subscriber details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for them to be deleted. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email jamie@jamiepidgley.com to unsubscribe or request deletion of your details.
Website usage
The site does not ask visitors for personal information beyond an email subscription. Like most websites, the hosting platform processes basic technical request data such as IP address and browser type in order to serve pages securely.
Contact form
The contact form prepares a draft in your own email app. It does not send the message for you. If you choose to send it, I receive the information you include and use it to respond to your enquiry.
