Started on the tools. Still hands-on.

I started my career as a telecoms engineer in Southampton and worked my way towards owning my own business. That experience still shapes how I work: understand the detail, look after customers and stay close to the day-to-day.

I’ve since moved from the South to Harrogate in the North. It’s where I’m now based as I develop new ventures and look for investment opportunities across the region.

I enjoy the practical side of business: turning an idea into something people can use, making processes work better and helping teams do their jobs well.

My work spans communications, technology, self storage and property investment, including JP Projects. Across those interests, I’m drawn to businesses that meet a clear need and have room to improve and grow.

Outside business, I founded The JP Foundation to bring people together through fundraising and support causes that matter to me.

In 2024, I received the Rising Star Award at the Business Awards UK Small Business Awards.
